How does solar energy work?

This current cannot be used for household purpose, because we need Alternating Current (AC) for household purpose. Wires are attached to these PV cells to transmit electricity to inverter for converting DC electricity into AC electricity. During this process some solar energy is lost. But using inverters is a very efficient way as compared to others converters. After conversion the electricity can be stored in batteries for later use.

The fact is that choosing number of PV cells depends on the individual need of solar energy and solar energy generation of a PV cell depends on various factors like the amount of sunlight, cloud conditions and weather situations.
