Is Global warming really not happening?

Global warming is one of the most serious issues of the day. You keep hearing about it from just about everyone. But what if global warming is not happening at all? Think about it. Global warming has suddenly become the issue of the decade and it has turned the entire world order topsy-turvy. Suddenly all the countries that were catching up with the best have been compelled to slow down.

Man has been proved to be the greatest destroyer of nature and this has given the self proclaimed moral inspectors the right to force right and wrong on other humans. It has enabled Governments to interfere in the work of industries and in time will lead to arbitration on their part as regards the dealings with corporations over regulatory affairs.

Thus, it can be seen that global warming is working towards empowering or rather giving undue access to Government and certain people to corporations and the activities of humans. Of course we all know that if we are really hurting the planet, we should reverse our roles and work towards the betterment of our Earth. But, the question is to what degree do we have to work, in what way do we have to work, and who decides what is to be done and what is not be done. The answer should not be the Government or the self-proclaimed global warming specialists, but it should be we the people.

You yourself should decide whether global warming is happening or not.

The idea that global warming is just a hoax cannot be refuted and hence, we need to be a little more careful as to who runs the show, if we do not wish to be taken for a ride. The first step towards this is to educate oneself about the actual facts about global warming, be open to arguments from both sides, check out the basis of arguments, and then decide between fact and myth. People who provide unbiased education about global warming should be welcomed and those with strong biases should be left out as there is quite a possibility that they will overwhelm you with their communication skills and biased data.

WHAT IS MY PERSONAL POINT OF VIEW?

However, I feel that someone who says that global warming is not happening has to be wrong (I’m no scientist, just my opinion). I mean, can’t you feel the heat when you step out of the house? Doesn’t it feel uneasy in the new scorching heat that has just developed over the past few years? There are many such reasons why I feel that global warming is really happening. Just have a look at few of the reasons why I think global warming is happening-

If you are living in the same place for many years, you may have noticed the way the climate has changed and must have experienced the gradual increase in temperature at that particular place.

Cities like Mumbai (India) have been experiencing adverse climatic changes over the past few years. Rains literally mean floods there. The recent climate in other cities of the world also has been very notable.

You can see the glaciers melting like anything. See the no. of pictures released by the media about the melting of glaciers. If those pictures were fake, at least somebody in this HUGE world would report about the fake pictures at least once.

People are getting affected of new diseases of the skin and body due to the sun’s rays now which were once considered healthy.

Various illnesses are caused due to the unhealthy climate change. Isn’t there any doctor in the world who would stand up and explain another cause for these diseases?

There are various other scientific explanations that ‘Global warming is happening’.

I feel that ‘Global warming is not happening’ is just a hoax created by the media to gain attention.

Global warming is real and it is harming us-

How long has it been since you visited the countryside or your hometown? The beautiful place where there are trees all around, and the air feels fresh. Now compare it to the place you are living in, the city. The environment of a city is the outcome of global warming itself whereas the hometown hasn’t yet been affected by global warming yet.

Doesn’t the hometown feel better and healthier? The cities were also as healthy once. But man will continue to progress, and if man progresses, the difficulties follow. Global warming is such a difficulty which I guess will be overtaken by man...and life will continue.

But on the other hand, after thinking a lot, I did feel that there is some (little) strength in the myth that global warming is not happening. I know I did say that whoever thinks so is wrong (lol), but you know…it can be true. There have been natural changes happening in the universe since millions of years, like dinosaurs extinct, volcanoes erupted, earth formed, etc. and the melting of glaciers and all can also be the same. You know humans are not the only creatures who can cause changes to happen. There is something called ‘nature’.

It is said that the glaciers melting, the sea levels fluctuating have been happening since long and are natural processes.

However, ‘global warming is happening’ is the winning side as majority of the people believe that it is happening and due to the number of scientific evidences available to support it.

Introduction

Global warming is probably the issue of the decade. It has been given just so much attention and importance that it is really difficult to separate the facts, myths and interpretations (right or wrong), from each other. A number of people have already established themselves as self-proclaimed global warming specialists and advice people on how they should try to undo things done by their counterparts if they want to save the world.

Some People do believe that Global warming is a hoax.

But, there are also people belonging to a different school of thought and they claim that global warming is one of the most hyped issues. All the data presented in the form of evidence is insufficient and generally used out of context and hence, most of the conclusions arrived at using such data is flawed. Take the case of increased carbon dioxide levels for example, global warming alarmists quote that the levels of carbon dioxide are increasing alarmingly because of mankind and this will have drastic effects.

Although the effects of increased carbon dioxide levels stated are irrefutable, but an important point has been carefully left out of public view which can turn the tables. Even before man started polluting the atmosphere with smoke from cars and factories, the carbon dioxide levels have reached serious levels, the highest being well over 18 times the present levels, and that too without human intervention!

So, how are we to believe that man is playing a part in anything that is happening and it is just not a cycle of nature? Similarly, a number of other claims can be proved to be based on illogical of out of context evidence. Quite a few people who were themselves global warming alarmists earlier have turned to this new school of thought after finding out such things for themselves.

But, as it always is, the people with power and money seem to support the global warming alarm bandwagon and hence, those opposing this alarm have had their funding cut down, or reports kept away from the public eye, and a lot more. Although most of such claims cannot be proved right or wrong in the public easily, this definitely calls on us to be a little more careful when we hear stuff about global warming and use our own brains instead of closing our eyes and trusting other’s words.
